The Bar
The Apotheke bar distinguishes itself from the multitude of bars with its intimate atmosphere and unique selection of spirits. Its motto, "Think what you drink," means you won't find draft beer on the menu. Instead, you'll learn about classic cocktails, and bartenders, skilled in the old alchemic tradition, will craft a drink tailored to your tastes and current state of mind. The bar's small size and tranquil jazz ambiance invite contemplative sipping and leisurely conversations, either with the bartender or the person across from you. Look for the glowing red cross in the window to locate the bar, and simply ring the bell to enter.

This bar holds a special place in my heart as it marks beginning of my bartending journey as well as passion for hunting the bottles from all over the world.
It was here, in 2017, that I first stepped behind this place, sat behind the wooden round table and discovered my passion for mixology.

The Concept
The bar itself is adorned like an ancient apothecary. Stepping inside, one finds a compact area dominated by an oval bar, suggesting you can mostly be accommodated at the bar itself. And trust me - it's worth it.
While no food is served, there is an extensive array of alcoholic drinks, focusing on cocktails and tinctures. The concoctions' names play off the pharmacy motif, and the friendly bartenders, donning white coats, refer to themselves as 'healers.'
The "healers" team regularly organizes tastings and events that celebrate the art of libations and the culture surrounding them.
