The Lakes Explorer Edition reached the top of the world, literally speaking, when Alan Chambers MBE decided to bring it with him to the North Pole, giving new meaning to the serving suggestion “To be drunk chill or on ice” (what an expression, eh).

Only 2200 original bottles were launched in the Summer of 2016 as a Limited Edition by the Lakes Distillery.

Being sold out so rapidly and caused such a sensation that the decision was made to bring The Lakes Gin Explorer Edition into the family.

A unique blend of 14 diverse botanicals, including unique Cumbrian juniper, and four others which are found particularly in the Lake District National Park are gently combined in each of the bottlles.

Distillery's recommendation

Drink as you please. They recommend a slice of pink grapefruit to highlight certain nuances of their uber complex gin.
