Chapel Down are pushing the boundaries of wine and spirit making, bringing together winemaking expertise with modern distillation techniques to create truly unique flavors.
⠀
This particular one is created using distilled pinot noir grape skins from the Chapel Down’s harvest.
⠀
And not just from some simple grapes - produced by distilling Pinot Noir grape skins leftover from the pressing process for the estate’s sparkling wine and blending them with English wheat spirit.
⠀
If I don’t mistake, that’s actually the first ever Pinot Noir gin infusion in the world. So yeah, I’m pretty lucky to have this guy in my collection.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓?
⠀
An aromatic pink gin with delicate aromas of red berries, which subtly balance the juniper led palate and refreshing citrus finish.
⠀
Personally, I find this a particularly successful gin to mix with aromatic tonics and of course, a strawberry or raspberry garnish.

𝘗𝘈𝘓𝘌𝘛𝘛𝘌: Infused with juniper, coriander, dried red berries, rose buds, citrus fruits, rosehip, angelica and grains of paradise.
⠀
𝘛𝘈𝘚𝘛𝘐𝘕𝘎: Creamy and subtly sweet, though the red berry notes aren't overpowering. Subtly spicy heat grows at the core, though floral rose notes keep it in check.

𝘗.𝘚. I’m already planning all the summery cocktails that I want to try with this one so...anyone willing to see the recipes?🍹
