Inspired by the years of American prohibition, a group of young people with very creative and ambitions ideas has created a "speakeasy" just a few steps from the historic center of Forlì, (Forlì-Cesena province)

The bar has a name, which has its own reasoning: "MMC", and to explain it is the beacon of this project. "The "MM" indicates the surnames of the creator (Gerardo Marcoguiseppe) and his business partner (Elia Michelacci), while the "C" is in memory of a friend who is no longer with us, Filippo Corvini.
From this combination comes a Roman numeral or 2,100 in Arabic numerals. It represents the past and the future of mixing where we are the middle point.
Lo "Speakeasy".
Interior is simple and welcoming, with soft lighting that conveys a feeling of intimacy and detachment from the rest of the world. The entrance is a gem, but I will not reveal it fully. The surprise effect is a must.
Speakeasy is open from Thursday to Sunday. Bartenders work through social media: to book a table, just send a message to the Instagram page "2100_mmc". As a response, you will receive the password to enter.

At the MMC you won't find standard cocktails - more of a something conceptual and refined that has led to the creation of a drink list.
The result is a cocktail that is not served on a simple glass glass, but accompanied by a specific theme, such as the context of a Zen garden or a flask inside a book.
